Camp in the Laguna Recreation Area - Listed here are four good campgrounds in or near the Laguna Mountains. Our favorite is Burnt Rancheria where camping spaces are nicely separated, the staff is very helpful and the best portions of the Pacific Crest Trail within San Diego County touch the perimeter of the campground. Open camping is allowed just outside the recreation area in Cleveland National Forest.

Group Camping the Easy Way - Here is a list of almost 30 campgrounds in San Diego County. The list is a useful (but incomplete) reference guide to San Diego's campgrounds. In addition, if you have a group of 15 or more people, the Camping Pros (they sponsor the list) will do everything for you so you can relax and enjoy the outdoors.
